How Exciting!  I have now been Featured in my First internationally distributed magazine "The Flow" a journal for the glass and flameworking community.

It's the 9th Annual Gallery of Women in Glass and I'm proud to be among them.

They have chosen to feature my Dichroic Galaxy Glow in the Dark Marble which was sold from my Etsy store in 2012 and now belongs to Tammy Zhener, of Louisville Ohio.

Thank you to the editors and publishers of "The Flow! and anyone interested in adding my work to their collections can always find me at pacificnorthwestglassblowing.com

PACIFICNWGLASS IS AWARDED ETSY'S FELLOWSHIP AND GRANT

Pacific Northwest Glass Blowing is a brand new grassroots company out of Northern California that was founded on the principal of going back to the basics.  The artist, The raw materials, and you.  We believe in local, self sustaining lifestyles and thrive on the live music that fills our souls with the creation of life.  In April 2012 born out a need for a community of like minded artists and the hope for a better tomorrow, the Deadhead Art Alliance was Founded.  The team is a global inter-dimensional group of artists and craft makers that see the world's need to get back to it's roots., to live the dream that started the american dream., the ability to support your family with your skills in the respect of the environment and society at large.  Having only existed over a month before learning about the fellowship, we had already formed our principals and goals for the future and come May, with over 200 members strong as support, applied and completed the 3 month application process with etsy.com.  We were announced as winners in August 2012 and are now etsy.com partners and part of the Etsy artist community.  We have received a Grant on top of our blessed fellowship which is a support system in guiding us and assisting us to reach our goals.

CONGRATULATIONS to YOU the deadhead art alliance TEAM

I don't know if it's because we have a blue moon this month, or what, but the 3 months of application process for etsy.com and all of the wonderful goals we have are being recognized, and SO ARE YOU.

It is a rare day when someone offers us help, recognition, and support, but here we are and I have to say that I am the proud captain of the deadhead art alliance., the toughest, most amazing craft team I could ever have imagined bringing together.

There are hundreds of teams on Etsy., to be chosen for this honor after only being a team who started a month before I started applying and to get recognized through the hundreds of applications worldwide that they have to sort through is like a miracle for us ;) and it shows they see the light within us :)
How many teams out there can say that???

Etsy has just deposited 200.00 US for us to use for promotional materials like banners, stickers, and business cards to help promote us in our endeavors to work together for festival selling, collaboration and as a collective community of artists, and is providing us their company Etsy branding logos for these promotional materials to show the world we are part of the official Etsy community.

When I asked our wonderful people at Etsy what is the best way to tell my team about the fellowship-
this is what she said-

As for telling your team, you should let them know that Etsy is supporting you to go out and represent yourselves as a team.

Keep up the great work!

Happiness and Bliss to you ALL, YOUR CAPTAIN
